'The wait time was 7 and a half years, I felt that there was no way I could do this'
After four rounds of chemotherapy, dialysis taking her only room for sanctuary, waking up in the middle of the night drowning in her own fluids Hollys return from a holiday in Bali was a time that turned her life around.
Holly shares her reflections on her threads of health, the miracle match from her dad and the traumatic experience of her near-death experience, asking herself 'have you done everything you need to do, are you done with this life'?
Holly decided that her journey wasn't over, that she wasn't going to give up.
Even with constant night terrors, the 2 years since her kidney transplant has Holly feeling an immense amount of gratitude for drinking coffee over 500ml, a fresh breath of air, to exercise and walk around healthier than she has ever been before.
Hollys Dads kidney saved her life, let's dive deeper into her journey.
Many people don't know about becoming an organ donor, it could give someone else a second chance
